I was recently asked what the goals of Immortal Memory are.
They are simple and clear.
1. To perpetuate Robert Burns cultural and humanitarian legacy through research into and liberal use of his work, including the broad dissemination of his message through concerts, audio and video recordings and personal appearances and interviews.
2. To effectively introduce and enlighten thousands of new people to Celtic and Scottish culture, its value and contribution to current society as one of the original sources of the universal message of brotherly love and freedom.
3. To encourage an understanding and acceptance of the concept that the human values of common sense and pride of worth are higher rank than any social position or man-given titles and demonstrate the same by example in our own lives.
You may say these are sky high goals; they are.
If you can get behind them then we are likely on the same page and can help each other. So, I invite you to drop me a note.
